Two men were arrested early Monday in the downtown area after allegedly attempted to abduct a woman, according to media reports.
La Voz newspaper reported that the incident was notified to the authorities at 3:29 a.m. in Pedro Moreno Avenue and New River Boulevard.
While patrolling the area the victim flagged the police.
The 30-year-old woman told police agents that after leaving a bar two men offered her a ride in a gray 1998 Jeep Cherokee.
The passenger then attempted to force the victim into the vehicle.
The victim was able to flee and asked for help in a gas station. Police officers were able to find and arrest the suspects, who were identified as Eduardo and Hector Ramon, both 31.
