Two men who were allegedly involved in a series of robberies were nabbed Sunday evening in Southern Mexicali after committing another robbery.

The incident was reported at 5:05 p.m. in a convenience store located at Mirabueno Avenue and Cadaques Street in the Fraccionamiento Villa Lomas Altas area.

The police said a 60yearold employee told the authorities the suspects entered the store and one of them brandished a firearm.

After getting an undisclosed amount of cash the suspects fled on foot.

Later, police officers were able to find and arrest the suspects who were identified as Francisco Javier, 37, and Jason, 27.

Although the policemen were unable to find the cash or the gun, the victim positively identified the suspects. The alleged robbers were arrested and transported to a police facility.
