Water users were warned about social media promotion of false services from the Commission of Public Utilities.

The agency has detected scam schemes in social media, especially on Facebook.

Water users are offered services like payment of fees that can be made directly in agency offices.

The agency called users to avoid making payments through third unauthorized parties.

All services can be paid straight in agency offices or other businesses like convenience stores, markets and gas stations. Also, the agency recalled that the Commission has apps through which services can be paid.
