A woman was found dead Thursday inside a Huertas del Colorado area home, according to a state police report.

The authorities arrested the woman’s boyfriend for homicide.

The incident was reported at 7:41 a.m. in the intersection of Frutilla Street and Guayabo Street.

The police report says the victim was identified as Fabiola Lizeth Román Sánchez, 31.

The authorities received a report regarding a woman who was found dead injured in the residence and with signs of foul play.

Next to the body the police found a tube and blood stains.

The woman’s brother-in-law told the authorities the victim spent the night with her boyfriend.

Initially, the police requested paramedics to help the injured woman. However, Red Cross paramedics declared the woman’s death. The police arrested the woman’s boyfriend, who was identified as Jonathan Martínez Gastélum, 39.
