A man and a woman from the US were apprehended by state police officers with an outstanding arrest warrant, the Attorney General’s office said.

The authorities said Charles Rouell and Michelle Nicole Rouell were arrested for possession of methamphetamine, conspiring to distribute methamphetamine and assault with deadly weapon.

The US Marshals requested help from the International Liaison of the Attorney General’s office to find and arrest the couple.

The Rouells were located in Fraccionamiento Hacienda Castilla neighborhood, the authorities said. The couple was transported to the National Institute of Immigration for their deportation.
